Norman Vitancol, EA
Associate Financial Planner
With a background in scientific research, statistics, and data analysis, Norman helps clients make thoughtful and informed decisions about their financial futures.
Norman Vitancol began his career in scientific research and statistics before discovering that he could use his analytical skills to help people make important personal financial decisions.
Prior to his pivot to financial planning, Norman was a Product Research Scientist at Procter & Gamble, using consumer research, statistical modeling, and data analysis to solve complex business problems. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Statistics from Western Michigan University and taught undergraduate statistics, combining his appreciation for problem-solving with a passion for helping others understand technical ideas.
Norman transitioned to financial planning so he could use his skills in a more personal way. While he enjoys the analytical side of planning, he finds it most rewarding to understand client goals and circumstances in order to help them connect the pieces of their financial plan. Norman believes comprehensive planning gives people greater clarity so they can make confident decisions about their future.
Norman works with his clients to develop comprehensive plans, evaluate retirement and investment strategies, and incorporate tax, insurance, estate, and cash-flow considerations into their planning. Prior to joining Arrivity, he worked as a paraplanner at Wells Fargo Advisors and completed an intensive financial planning externship with Amplified Planning. He passed the CFP® Examination on March 21, 2025 (certification pending completion of experience and ethics requirements), and is an Enrolled Agent with an interest in tax-aware financial planning.
Norman also enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and making the most of the Pacific Northwest’s outdoors. He looks forward to summer camping and paddle boarding, and recently discovered a new hobby, pickleball.
