Ben Ferguson, JD

Ben believes the most valuable service a financial planner provides is advice-only planning that empowers clients to live their wealthy life. As part of the Arrivity team, Ben uses his expertise and experience to support clients in achieving their financial goals.

Prior to joining Arrivity, Ben was a trial attorney representing clients in litigation against some of the largest insurance and construction companies. His work included advocacy at the superior, appellate, and even Washington Supreme Court level where his detailed briefs helped persuade judges in his clients’ favor. Ben’s experience advocating for clients – and his passion for counseling them on next steps for their newly acquired funds – jump-started his career as a financial planner.

Ben is currently an Investment Adviser Representative. While practicing as an attorney, Ben took great joy in gaining mastery over complicated topics and translating information into digestible, easy-to-understand explanations for his clients. He also has experience drafting and reviewing estate planning documents.

When he’s not reading and researching the latest in financial, legal, or astronomical news, Ben can be found enjoying the great outdoors with his wife and dog or playing strategy board games with friends and family. He loves walking, stargazing, biking, table tennis, downhill skiing and, as a Bainbridge Island native, has played pickleball since he was old enough to swing a paddle.
