“If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude. Don’t complain.”

John Goddard
Founder (Retired)
John established Goddard Financial Planning in 2004 after a long career as a corporate executive. He had a mission to bring high-value financial planning to people at any stage of life. John established standards that make sure every plan is a combination of analysis, recommendations, and implementation guidelines for each client’s unique situation.
A graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor in Sociology, John contributed to the book Just Give Me The Answers and has developed personal financial plans for hundreds of clients.
In February 2015 John retired from Goddard Financial Planning, which was re-named Arrivity Financial Planning in 2021. We still keep in touch with John and enjoy hearing about his retirement.
