Nancy loves working with clients who want to understand how their financial puzzle pieces fit together to achieve their goals. Nancy’s background in mechanical engineering gives her a solution-focused mindset for helping clients think through the financial implications of their individual situations.
Nancy joined the firm in 2009 and is now Arrivity’s president. In addition to working with clients on their financial plans, Nancy coaches the next generation of planners, oversees compliance, and develops systems and processes that keep Arrivity on the leading edge of fee-for-service financial planning firms.
Nancy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with an MBA from Seattle University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico. She has twice co-authored the Seattle Times Financial Makeover (2012 and 2016). She’s a member of the Financial Planning Association of Puget Sound and the National Association of Professional Financial Advisors.
Nancy’s lifetime project is climbing Colorado’s 14’ers. Each summer she spends a portion of her vacation trying to get to the top of one of Colorado’s fifty-four peaks that soar past the 14,000 foot mark. She has also biked coast to coast across the U.S., climbed Denali in Alaska, and worked as a ski Instructor at Crested Butte in Colorado.
