Ted serves as a trusted guide for his clients and believes Arrivity’s transparent pricing model allows people of all ages to gain access to expert professional advice.
Ted entered the financial services industry in 1999, first working in municipal bonds with large institutional clients. While this was a great onramp to the industry, he realized working with individual clients would allow him to make a real impact. Ted transitioned to financial planning when he moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2006.
Ted’s experience working for two highly-regarded Seattle-area wealth management firms gave him a better feel for the financial planning industry. When he moved to Arrivity, he found he could finally be a true advocate for his clients – with no outside pressures or strings attached.
Ted is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Austin College. He authored a 2015 Seattle Times Financial Makeover and is a Member of the Financial Planning Association of Puget Sound.
Ted enjoys mountain biking at Duthie Hill, coaching his son’s baseball or basketball teams, playing “Ted pitch” wiffle ball in the backyard, and singing/playing/dancing with his daughter. When he has a chance to get away, he goes road-tripping in British Columbia where he and his wife plan to retire someday. And when he can’t get away, he still stays up to date on his beloved Dallas Mavericks.
