“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” – Amelia Earhart

Tara Clark

Associate Financial Planner

Tara supports the Arrivity planners by preparing for meetings, taking notes, compiling client data, drafting spreadsheets, and sharing her love of keyboard shortcuts. She looks forward to working directly with clients and impacting people’s lives in a meaningful way.

Before pivoting her career to financial planning, Tara worked for a decade as a software engineer, with many big industry players including Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, and BlackBerry. She has always loved puzzles, math, and spreadsheets, so financial planning was an obvious fit.

Tara has a Bachelor of Computer Science with Joint Honours in French from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. She’s also a candidate for CFP® certification, a member of the Financial Planning Association of Puget Sound and a VITA Volunteer at the Seattle Public Library, preparing tax returns for lower-income households.

An avid reader, Tara reads on average a book per week. She also enjoys walking, and walk-commutes to the office when she’s able.
