“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” – Amelia Earhart

Tara “Jamie” Clark

Associate Financial Planner

Jamie supports the Arrivity planners by preparing for meetings, taking notes, compiling client data, drafting spreadsheets, and sharing their love of keyboard shortcuts. They look forward to working directly with clients and impacting people’s lives in a meaningful way.

Before pivoting their career to financial planning, Jamie worked for a decade as a software engineer, with many big industry players including Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, and BlackBerry. They have always loved puzzles, math, and spreadsheets, so financial planning was an obvious fit.

Jamie has a Bachelor of Computer Science with Joint Honours in French from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. They are also a candidate for CFP® certification, a member of the Financial Planning Association of Puget Sound and a VITA Volunteer at the Seattle Public Library, preparing tax returns for lower-income households.

An avid reader, Jamie reads on average a book per week. They also enjoy walking and walk-commute to the office when they are able.
